    Era Living is seeking a part-time Admissions Assistant to become the newest member of our Admissions team located in our Ida Culver House Broadview Community in North Seattle, WA.

    Primary Responsibilities: 
    The Admissions Assistant helps with the admission process of residents to the Health Care Center, serving as a liaison between the facility and the referral source and oftentimes provides tours of the community to interested parties. This role provides guidance on the admission process and provides applicants and referral sources with information about application requirements, assessment, and approval based on appropriateness for each care level. The Admissions Assistant will maintain accurate files of all applications and document information related to status and care needs, and completes admission sign-in paperwork with the resident, family, and/or DPOA.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • High school diploma or the state equivalent, required.
    • Knowledge of resident care, gerontology and/or care of older adults, preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with Residents, family members, visitors and co-workers.
    • Ability to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
    • Ability to pass a DSHS background check, required.
